SEU Donor-Funded Scholarship Portal
Welcome to Your New Private & Donor Scholarship Hub!
Welcome to Saint Elizabeth University’s brand-new donor-funded scholarship application website! This portal is a brand-new resource designed to connect you directly with donor-funded scholarships provided by generous SEU alumni and friends. If this is your first time applying for college scholarships, don't worry! We are here to guide you step-by-step through the process to help make your education as affordable as possible.
Your Quick Application Guide
- What materials do I need to apply? To get started, you will just need your basic student information. While the general application automatically matches you to awards based on your profile, some specific scholarships might ask for a brief personal statement about your goals or a list of your campus activities.
- Can I save my application and come back later? Yes! You do not have to finish everything in one sitting. You can fill out what you can, save your progress, and log back in whenever you are ready to complete and submit your application.
- How much money can be awarded? Award amounts vary depending on the specific donor fund. Most provide larger balances to directly lower your tuition costs and reduce the need for student loans.
About the Award Process
Once you submit your application for the scholarships that match your academic major or background, your part is done! From there, a dedicated committee of SEU faculty and staff will carefully review every submission to make the final selection decisions.
The review committee works diligently to evaluate all applications fairly. Our team plans to send out official awarding notices to selected students in November.

FAQs and Answers
Most currently enrolled Saint Elizabeth University students are eligible to apply for scholarships through the scholarship portal. Eligibility varies by scholarship and is determined by criteria, which may include academic achievement, financial need, major, class standing, extracurricular involvement, leadership, or other qualifications.
Log in to the scholarship portal using your SEU credentials and complete the General Application during the application period. Based on your responses, you will automatically be matched with scholarship opportunities for which you may be eligible. Some scholarships may require additional questions or supplemental materials before your application is considered complete.
No. All students begin by completing the General Application. Based on your responses, the scholarship portal may present additional Conditional Applications for scholarships with more specific eligibility requirements. If a Conditional Application appears in your account, you should complete it to be considered for those scholarship opportunities.
You should complete the General Application during each scholarship application cycle. Scholarship opportunities, eligibility requirements, and your academic information may change over time, so submitting an updated application ensures you receive the most accurate scholarship matches.
For scholarships requiring financial need, eligibility is determined by the Office of Financial Aid using your FAFSA (or other required financial aid documentation, if applicable). Students should ensure all required financial aid forms are submitted by the published deadlines to be considered for need-based awards.
Application deadlines are posted on the scholarship portal and the Scholarship Office website. All scholarship applications, including any required supplemental materials, must be submitted by the published deadline to be considered. Late or incomplete applications cannot be accepted, so we encourage students to apply well before the deadline.
Once the scholarship selection process has been completed, recipients will be notified through their university email and/or the scholarship portal. Notification timelines vary depending on the scholarship and review process.
Scholarship donors make these awards possible through their generosity. If you are selected to receive a scholarship, you may be asked to submit a thank-you letter or video. Sharing how the scholarship has impacted your educational journey is a meaningful way to express your gratitude and helps demonstrate the value of donor support.
